"This house is every bit as fabulous as it’s presented, if not more. We couldn’t have wished for a more amazing place to celebrate my 70th birthday. With eight couples, the rooms worked perfectly for everyone. We had planned a very full agenda of Sonoma activities for the weekend, yet we often found it hard to leave the property because its amenities and atmosphere were so incredible. Joseph is a wonderful host. He is responsive, thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely warm."

"Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The home, originally built in 1875, perfectly blends historic charm with modern comfort. You can truly feel the character of the space while still enjoying all the updated amenities; it is the best of both worlds. The layout worked wonderfully for our group of 16. The kitchen, in particular, was spacious enough that it never felt crowded, even with multiple people preparing meals. It was also incredibly well stocked with every appliance we could possibly need. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the spacious outdoor spaces are enough for at least 30 people. The pool is large and the jacuzzi was a bonus. Every amenity we used was in excellent condition and worked flawlessly. We genuinely loved everything about this property and are already talking about coming again."

"Absolutely beautiful property with lots of spaces to relax indoors and outdoors. Well appointed kitchen. Comfortable beds. Love that all 8 bedrooms have an en suite bathroom (except one that is separate but still its own bathrooom). Can walk to the town in a few minutes. Lots to do on property between bacci, pool, hot tub, fire pit, workout room, billiards! Highly recommend. Also great recommendations from Joseph for a private chef!"

"This house is incredible. We hosted a retreat here and had the most wonderful time. The bedrooms are stunning, the communal spaces are lovely, the pool and hot tub are amazing, the back house with a gym and pool table is great, and there's even a side house with laundry. The house is fully stocked and well prepared. No notes. Highly recommend for anyone hosting an event or just needing a large place to stay. Geyserville is tiny, so would recommend driving 10 mins away to Healdsburg or just enjoying vineyards nearby."

"I celebrated a milestone birthday at Joseph’s place. While there were some other options in wine country, I couldn’t have been happier with my decision. First, Joseph is a wonderful host. He is not only responsive but accommodated a request to visit the property ahead of the event for planning purposes. The house itself is gorgeous, every room a treat. The pool area, the hot tub and the entire backyard is large yet instills a cozy environment. Guests didn’t want to leave the property. The house is well-stocked with modern high-end appliances. As a fellow Airbnb host myself, I can attest to Joseph’s attention to detail; I took quite a few notes. It’s a short drive to quite a few wineries around. I would rent it all over again, and I would highly recommend it to any friend or family member without hesitation. A perfect find!"

"We feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay at the Hope Merrill House for our wedding weekend. From the very beginning, we felt right at home thanks to Joseph’s helpful communication, the welcoming atmosphere of the house, and Audra’s hospitality. "Gorgeous home and a lot larger than it looks in photos. We had 4 families with kids and it was perfect for us. The kids loved the pool and played all day in it. The grill and outdoor dining area fit our large group easily, it was so amazing having everyone together in a space that seems designed for larger families or groups. You also have restaurants within walking distance and a really (really) good coffee shop called fermata with delicious breakfast sandwiches. Loved our stay and would highly recommend it!"

"Our group had an absolutely incredible stay! Eight couples spend the weekend celebrating my 40th birthday. The property exceeded every expectation and was the perfect destination for a large group gathering. The vineyard setting is stunning, offering beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere that made us feel like we were on a private resort. We had the most magical outdoor dinner, like out of a magazine! The house itself is spacious, thoughtfully designed, and full of character. Every bedroom was unique, beautifully decorated, and comfortable, giving everyone their own special space. We especially loved the game room, which provided endless entertainment and became a favorite hangout spot throughout our stay. The outdoor areas were exceptional. We spent hours enjoying the pool, relaxing in the sun, and watching the stars from the hot tub. Joseph was the best host ever, so responsive and helpful and kind. Truly the best weekend ever!!"
